On 27th July my “church mentor” asked me if I could help her record some videos for the making of her first music album. So I spent all day preparing the video equipment I would need, checking if everything worked and figuring out how to use it, and organizing all the materials. I took a shower, grabbed a quick bite to eat, and went to the recording studio with her. There, I had fun recording my church mentor while she was singing, recording, and experimenting with the producer and her manager. On 14th July one of my best friends turned eighteen, and to celebrate her birthday she decided to take me and her other friends on a little trip to Sestri Levante. We stayed for two days there, in a hotel near the beach. As we arrived we headed straight to the beach, there we took a quick dip because the water was cold. Later, some of the girls and I, decided to surprise the birthday girl by decorating her room with balloons. We were running late but we managed to do it and she was truly happy when she saw it. Afterwards she opened the presents and then we prepared for the dinner party. We ate and drank a lot, since nobody had finished her slice of cake. We had a lot of fun and the night continued with a walk through the town and along the beach (the next time I have to bring my flip flops!). Even if I didn’t know anybody, we all talked a lot and they were all super friendly to me. When we got back to the hotel, the birthday girl wanted to play cards. We were all exhausted but four...

During my holidays in Rimini we also went to Riccione to have a swim and to eat something. We came back home pretty early to prepare ourselves and spend the evening in the centre and go to some clubs. When we arrived, we bumped into the same friends we had gone clubbing with a few nights before. While we were waiting for the rest of the group, a Swedish guy approached us and asked where he could find a techno club. I was the only one who stepped up and replied in English, so I told him I didn’t know any place like that. So this guy decided to follow us in a club on the beach and in the meanwhile he started speaking about meaningless things. He explained why he had spoons in his pocket (I still don’t get it!). He also complained that prices in Italy were too high and talked about his travels. Luckily, he didn’t stay with us all night, because he was pretty weird. Overall I enjoyed speaking in English with a foreign person again, I don’t know why but I’m always delighted when I do it. ...

For my fourth week of holidaysI went to Rimini with two of my best friends, and one day in particular turned out to be absolutely unforgettable. We stayed awake all night because we wanted to watch the sunrise, so we fell asleep at 6am and woke up pretty late. After lunch, we went to the beach and got henna tattoos. Unfortunately, while we were getting them done, it started raining, and they got slightly ruined. Back home, we took a nap, but a call from our friends woke us up, they said they had just arrived in Rimini. They had nowhere to eat or sleep, so we invited them over. We all had dinner together, and later my two friends and I went clubbing with another group while the others stayed on the beach. During the whole night we met new people, shared weird pizza, and watched the sunrise while we were taking a quick dip in the sea. On 22nd June, I set off for Albania with my mum, to visit my family. I stayed at my grandparents’ house with my little cousins and it was quite a trial for me. I wish I had helped more my grandparents by lending a hand with the daily tasks. The day I helped the most I convinced my cousins to go with me and our grandad to harvest okras, green beans and plums. Then I helped my mum and grandma clean the green beans. In the meanwhile we started gossipping about our family’s drama. I always love hearing my grandma chatting about others. If I knew Albanian better, I would understand more, but it is really difficult to learn. After that I helped my grandad get drinking water from the water truck and carried it home. Then I stayed with my cousins until lunch wasn’t ready. We ate and then went to the beach all together. We returned home quite early because I had to study for the driving license.   During the second week of my holidays, I stayed in Andora visiting new cities such as Sanremo and sunbathing with my friends. The day we visited Sanremo was really full of emotions. We started the day trying to find a parking spot for almost one hour. While we were searching, we had a little fender bender , but luckily nothing serious happened! Once we found parking, we visited the city center and then walked up to La Pigna under the hot sun. It was my idea, but my friends still haven’t forgiven me because it was quite exhausting! At lunchtime, we tried to find a beach to relax, but some police officers told us that most beaches prohibited bathing . So, we returned to our usual beach near home, had lunch, and after spending the afternoon at the beach, we went back home. This week has been incredible! On June 10th, I went to the Pinguini Tattici Nucleari concert in San Siro with my parents and my boyfriend and had one of the most emotional nights of my life. The band has played all my favorite songs and the atmosphere has been so magical. The whole show was so thrilling that I cried during the song “ricordi”. Unluckily I haven't taken so many pictures or videos, but it was just because I have lived the moment first hand rather than thinking about recording it. Then, on June 12th, I left for Andora with my friends. We have spent relaxing days on the beach and have laughed non-stop. On the 14th, we visited Alassio: I took pictures of the famous Muretto and the Banksy graffiti and we ate an amazing ice cream.
